Phong Huynh

My name is Phong Huynh, and I am a computer programmer currently living in Brampton, Ontario. I graduated with honours from Humber College in 2012.

At the young age of 13 I learned and taught myself how to use Adobe Photoshop 7 using online tutorials and videos. Using my self-taught skills I manipulated images to use as signature tags on forums and other various websites. During high school I started to take graphic design courses and programming courses. When I had to choose my post-secondary education I was stuck between choosing either graphic design or computer programming. I ended up taking computer programming because it was more versatile and I seem to enjoy it more. I have been programming, mostly with java, for 5 years and I have recently completed my studies as a Computer Programmer at Humber College. I've always had a passion for graphic design which is why I think web development would be perfect for me. It has the combination of both design and coding (front-end and back-end for websites).

In my free time I like to play video games, read, watch TV shows and exercise. My favourite game is currently Dota 2 which is a multiplayer online battle arena, I also enjoy the occasional mmorpgs, fighters, first person shooters. I am currently reading the A Song of Ice and Fire series. In addition, I also like to read technical and gaming blogs.
