Hamilton Way

I'm a Freshman at the University of Georgia majoring in Mass Media Arts and Film Studies. I'm originally from a small town called Hawkinsville in Middle Georgia, and attended Westfield High School, a small, private school with a graduating class of 59. In High School I was a member of the Cross Country, Wrestling, and Soccer teams, although in college I'm most likely keeping my athletic involvement down to just the occassional intramural team. I was also an active member of the Key Club, the Beta Club, the Debate Team, the Academic Bowl Team, the Math Team, my school's drama department and One Act Play cast, Chorus, and several out of school youth advancement and leadership programs such as Duke TIP, Rotary Youth Leadership, and Pulaski County Youth Leadership. My major hobby is simply social interaction, as I love people and getting to know people from all sorts of walks of life. I consider myself a television buff, having seen all sorts of shows with my favorites being Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Mad Men, 24, Parks and Recreation, and, most recently, Breaking Bad, among many others. I enjoy movies too, with my top three consisting of Memento, Fight Club, and The Truman Show, as well as being able to quote the movie Anchorman forwards and backwards. I love adventuring and trying new things, and I'm down for any recreational activity from board games to Ultimate Frisbee to Racquetball, even if I'm better at some than I am at others. In college I have been actively involved in organizations such as Freshman Forum, UGA Heros, and RUF ministry and have found a very tight friend group that is continually expanding.
