In March 2011, I quit my job at Carmel Drug Store and moved up to Portland, OR to start an old fashioned drug store in the hippest city in the Pacific North West. It was an awesome experiment, but Luckily for me it never got off the paper. I struggled for a few months to find the perfect location for "Teddy's Old Fashioned Drug Store". In my downtime, I started writing a business plan for a new concept I wanted to do called Hyaqu.

One night in December 2011 I was sitting in my bedroom wondering why there wasn't a version of ###### for shopping. It seemed like it would make the whole purchasing process faster, help businesses (online or offline) sell more without losing a customer, and empower consumers. I know this all sounds highly unlinkely that such a service could exist or that I thought of it or cared to build it, but that's what I'm working on right now.

My only prior experience in business was assistant managing a drugstore in Carmel, CA for the last seven years (god was it really that long!) and losing $6,000 in the stock market when I was 18 (I invested $1,000 in Iomega when their share price was like $12.85, they split, went up to $60, split went up to $120, and in the end I had $6,000, but lost it all on Linux IPOs a few years later.

News about Hyaqu:

We recently signed on a UX/UI Designer and are proceeding along that course into 2013 when we hope to start seeking an iOS dev team or hire in-house iOS developers.

I am a lover of cooking, eating yummy food, drinking tasty wine, & enjoy great company.
