Haylie

Hey, hi. My name is Haylie (duhhh). In all honesty, I'm not exactly sure if there's just one work to sum me up completely. I'm a musician, I'm a student. I'm a debater, I'm a peacemaker. My roles switch, a lot. But yanno, I think I'm going to let you decide what I am.

I was born on January 5th, 2003, snow fell that day. From the moment I was born my mom decided that I was going to be a lawyer in the future. Over the past 13 years, that never wavered. But I'm honestly holy with that.

Either way, about 4 years later, I picked up the violin. I've been playing for just about 9 years now. But the violin has become a big part of my life. It's helped me get far. I've recently been invited to play at a concert hall in London, but I'm not sure if I'm taking that offer up.

Every single moment I spent in school has been me preparing for something. And in the end, it will all lead up to me preparing for college. My dream school is Princeton, but if I can't afford that, I'll settle for John Jay. John Jay is my preferable choice for city universities.

But school is boring. I get high marks but they don't mean much to me as much as they used to. I'll always get high marks, it's my job. I'm bored of the same scores over and over. It's become too casual for me to get a good grade.

So when I got bored with school, I took up video games. When I got bored with video games, I took up new friends. Those new friends have kept me busy for nearly a year now. They're now a huge part of me.
