HANA YOUNES

Born in Northern Ireland into an Irish | Syrian family and living/studying between the UK and UAE. Graduated from the Canadian University of Dubai with a 5 year Bachelor of Architecture. In that time interned for 3 companies - Gibson Design & Build (N.Ireland), the National Engineering Bureau (Dubai) and Dabbagh Architects (Dubai). My work involved many aspects: client coordination, drafting and design; visualization and site surveying. Employed since October 2013 by boutique architecture consultancy Dabbagh Architects as an architect and informal social media manager. I have worked on a wide variety of projects - from interior fit outs for hospitality to complete concept to construction projects for educational and commercial designs. I have a great love for mixed media as a tool for expression, and have worked not only in my field but also as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator for companies and institutions such MEC Dubai and my alma mater.
