Hypertext Media

Hypertext Media is a small custom publishing and freelance journalism consultancy operating within the South African technology sector.

It currently publishes Connect Magazine as a joint-venture with technology retailer, Incredible Connection; Tarsus Channel for an on behalf of technology distributor, Tarsus technologies; and GirlGuides, South Africa's first and only female technology-centric news, reviews and opinions website.

In its freelance capacity, Hypertext staffers file copy for Rolling Stone S.A., DestinyMan Magazine and Africa Telecoms.

Members of the Hypertext team also compile content for a weekly technology segment on Cape Town's HeartFM and contribute to South Africa's favourite technology podcast, the ZA Tech Show.

The team consists of: Brett Haggard, Tiana Cline, Deon DuPlessis and Christo van Gemert on words; Jason Palmer and Jessica Hurwitz on creative; Dorothy Haggard in sales and Sengezo Jubane on admin.
