Hi, I’m Anna!

I was born and raised in rural Beal City, Michigan. As a child, I attended St. Joseph the Worker Elementary School before moving on to Beal City High School for middle school and high school. Beal City is a very small town (so small, in fact, that it’s considered a village, not a city), so my graduating class was relatively small. I also had the misfortune of being a sophomore during the 2020 pandemic, when many of my classmates chose to drop out of school. For this reason, my graduating class was right around 65 students. While studying during the pandemic came with challenges I felt unequipped to face at the time, it gave me the opportunity to become a self-motivated, creative-thinking student.

After graduating from Beal City, I chose to attend Mid Michigan College in Mt. Pleasant, where I obtained my Associate's Degree in Business Administration. I am proud to have been named to the Scholars List, Dean’s List, and President’s List several times during my time at Mid. I was a diligent, hard-working student. I began my time at Mid studying graphic design, but decided shortly after that I wanted to pursue a more general course of business study instead. While this chapter of my education is closed, I am considering pursuing a higher degree, perhaps in finance. Throughout college, I worked two part-time jobs, which gave me invaluable “real-world” office experience while also teaching me time management skills.

Outside of work, I like to read, draw, watch movies, garden, and root for Michigan State- go green!
