Current Editor of www.thehotelculture.­com - a trending and review site that celebrates hotel, brand and culture. The Hotel Culture works with carefully selected Contributors such as Jen Rubio, head of digital at AllSaints, James Layfield, CEO of Central Working and Sara Henrichs, ex Travel Editor for Wallpaper. As these travel savvy folks explore the globe they review hotels. The site also offers insight into brand strategy. Democratising travel since 2014. I have also been creating content for citizenMag. I completed content for their launch in NYC. Further to this I am working with the University of Westminster MA course. As Director of Marketing for the Great Northern Hotel I developed marketing strategy for each of the brands KIOSK, Plum Spilt Milk, GNH Bar and Great Northern Hotel. Here we ushered in celebrity and cultural events as well as driving room sales. Focusing on digital, brand partnerships, strategic alliances, entertainment, sales, lifestyle brands, content marketing, consumer facing technology, art direction & branding. At myhotels my main focus was deploying tactical digital marketing initiatives, continuing to leverage brand equity against growing strategic alliances and developing innovative revenue generating initiatives. I launched the new website www.myhotels.com launched yielding 71% increase in revenue year on year and winner of TravelMole 2012 Best Accommodation Site Web Award. Securing five European Hotel Design nominations and inducted into the Conde Nast Traveller 2009 Hot List. Over the years I have forged relationships and strategic branded alliances including Somerset House, Film4, Coco de Mer, Tiffany & Co., 'A Hedonist's Guide to' as well as working closely with Deutsche Bank sponsored charity - SleepSmart. Having completed a BSc and MA in Marketing Communications from the University of Westminster I worked within PR and Media agencies for two years prior to joining myhotels in 2004 with myhotel Bloomsbury and myhotel Chelsea. In 2008 myhotels successfully opened the Karim Rashid designed myhotel Brighton. Attended The Annual Hotel Conference '11 as panel member for Social Media, presented at Hotelympia on experiential marketing and web design, attended The Annual Hotel Conference '12 to host the Technology panel. Panel member for Hospitality Technology Expo '12 'who owns brand - IT vs Marketing, at Earl's Court.
