Abhinav Lal

Energetic with a calm mind and a passion to travel is what Abhinav Lal is. During his school days Abhinav Lal received the honor of working as the House Captain, Secretary of Interact Club, Discipline In-charge of the School and most important, he was the captain of the school’s Basket Ball team for 2 years and under his captaincy our school won the first ever First Place Position at the district level and also Abhinav was awarded as the “Man of the Tournament”. Apart from that, Abhinav also represented our school in the District’s Junior Basket Ball Team (State Level) for 4 years and later became the captain of the District’s Senior Basket Ball Team. For the above achievements, Abhinav was awarded with 5 scholarships from the school for the “Best Sportsperson of the Session and House”. After finishing school, he joined the Under Graduate program in Mass Communication at Asian School of Media Studies – Film City, Noida. In addition to that, Abhinav got the opportunity to work for Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 (XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010) as a Multimedia Production In-charge. During this experience he got the opportunity to travel across 86 Cities, 6 Union Territories and 28 States of India over a period of 102 days continuous journey and also he received a letter of appreciation from the Organizing Committee for his determined work under immense pressure. After CWG project, Abhinav didn’t looked back and went on to cover Wills India Fashion Week Summer Spring’11. Recently, Abhinav went to the tour of Sri Lanka for 41 days to cover ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 as an On-Field Camera-person. Currently, Abhinav has continued working with his NGO (Young Energetic Society) where he is working since September 2007.
