Iain Standen

Iain Standen is CEO of the Bletchley Park Trust, the organisation that runs Bletchley Park the historic site of secret British codebreaking and intelligence production activities during WWII. He has been the CEO since January 2012, prior to which he served for 28 years as an officer in the British Army. As well as his day job, Iain is also a Guild of Battlefield Guides validated guide and spends as much time as he can leading tours of battlefields in Britain, Europe and the United States of America. His particular areas of interest and expertise are the American Civil War and the First World War. He is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce).
