9th Ward Gucci is no stranger to the Industry, having previously been signed briefly with Island Def Jam Records. Some of his works include, “Chopper,” “Add Me Up” (ft. Nitti Beatz & Jermaine Dupri), “Supermodel” and the still popular, “Accent” with Gucci Mane.
He also caught the attention of Trey Songz (“Sad I Gotta Hustle”), Yo Gotti (“What U Think About Me”), The Dream, and Drumma Boy, DJ Spinz, CelSizzle, KE, Hektik, Mike Swift, Gamble, Knucklez, Rell, Spinatik, T. Brewer and Leer Jet.
The UNSUNG mixtape was released in November 2012, but, something extra is in his hip-hop gumbo. That signature 9th Ward Gucci “Yah-Yah-Yah” comes harder with some jaw-dropping realism, from the Intro, “Change Gon’ Come,” with Sam Cook crooning to the melody and 9th Ward Gucci spitting, “I ain’t just project, I’m 5-0-4” or “Masta Blasta” (produced by DJ CelSizzle), A Shout Out to All of the Ballers in any hustle; and “My Life,” where the hook is at the end of the track, GOLDEN.
The FOCUS CD was released in May 2013, honing in on the single, “Dolla $ign$,” [two versions, one featuring StarDAT J-Slim] released simultaneously with the debut video on WorldStarHipHop, which nabbed 10,000 views in the first 24 hours and nearly 23,000 views to date.
LATEST UPDATE: 9th Ward Gucci Performed at the 2013 A3C Hip-Hop Festival recently, on 10/04/2013 in Atlanta, GA. and just wrapped up filming his upcoming video for the single, "Freakin' You" on 10/22/2013 in Atlanta, GA. STAY TUNED....
