DJ Kidd was born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. Kidd was exposed to the Dj Culture early in life. Growing up seeing both his father and oldest brother (DJ Dink) being DJs, and listen to Djs like Kid Capri, Ron G, DJ Juice just made Kidd want to be like them! Incredibly, thats exactly what he did. DJ Kidd would start off like most Djs, spinning house parties, family reunions, helping his father Dj, and making mix tapes for friends at school. It was not until Kidd reached Virginia Union University, that Kidd knew he wanted to focus on reaching a broader audience and taking his game to the Next Level. Kidd finally got the opportunity and has not look backed. Rocking parties at VUU, VCU, U of R, ODU with DJ Rob $tacks, Mary Balwin, Radford University, Virginia Tech and thats not including the numerous nightclubs all along the East Coast. Although lately the party scene has been keeping him busy, Kidd still takes the time out to knockout a bi-weekly Facebook/Twitter Mix and a weekly radio show "Sick 1 Radio" which airs weekly on www.itsthesix.com.
