Duties:

Cross manage global projects from infrastructure to business development with internal teams and third party vendors.
1st – 3rd line support on all WAN/LAN/MPLS infrastructures.
Guidance to support teams on OS/Software/Hardware issues, Ensuring minimum disruption to daily business.
Host monthly review meetings with global stakeholders providing reports on performance and change management.
Ensure Clients and global colleagues receive 24x7 support, inc Out of Hours (GMT).
1st to 3rd line support on core Wintel Services, recently migrated to a VM Ware Cluster. (2 Hosts)
IT procurement, Vendor management including contractual agreements, developing new relationships with global service providers.
Presenting business cases for new technology to business stake holders.

Key Achievements:

Transformed and restructured local IT services to define a global support function, keeping in line with business development plans. Assembled and manage in house global technical teams based in UK, US and APAC regions, servicing over 1500 global users and three core data centers worldwide. Streamlined processes introducing governing policies and ITIL best practice. Re-Negotiating vendor support to better serve the business and clients such as RBS Group, Santander, HP, Intel, etc.
