Ikemefuna

I am Ikemefuna. I am fifteen years old from a neighbouring clan, Mbaino. I have been brought to Umuofia as a sacrifice for killing of a woman of Umuofia. I had been taken under care of Okonkwo and his family for three years.

I love my mother and my sister. People give me a nickname, frog, because I can easily adapt to new environment in a short period of time. My happiest moment in Umuofia is when I spent time with Nwoye, talking folk tales, showing my survival skills and planting yam crops. Wine is my favourite drink. I like to eat yam crops as yam is the king of crops. I dislike locusts as I found them very disgusting. However, I get used to eat locusts after I lived in Okonkwo's house.
