Karan Singh

I am a computer science major at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I was an intern at Microsoft Research, Redmond this summer, where I worked on Program Synthesis from natural language.

My interests span the fields of Sublinear Algorithms, Covex Geometry, High-dimensional Statistics, and Optimization.

In my spare time, I like to read (and speak) about the design of programming languages, dig papers on linguistics, machine learning, program synthesis, and random walks, and advocate the use of functional programming, often, by writing elegant and well-crafted code.
