Coming from humble begins, David Jr. has always been sensitive for music. Just like any young person, David had to find Christ for himself and make a personal connection. After being baptized at the tender age of 12, he knew that he was set apart and special. Realizing that he was musically talented, David began to rap. He soon figured out that his gifts were not for the world but for God alone. His love for Christ began to radiated through the entire teenage part of his life, and has grown over the years to something more than he believed. He uses the stage name M.A.K. (Motivated to Activate the Kingdom) because he desires for his lyrical content to make an impact on lives that have been, that can be, and that will be transformed by the power of the Jesus Christ.

God has brought M.A.K. to a new level and a new place in his walk with God personally, and this has allowed him to show his passion for the Lord through music. M.A.K. has been allowed to have the right people by his side to help him pursue the music that God has put into him. As God continues to shape his life, M.A.K. becomes more motivated to tell people of his testimony and of what God has done in his life. M.A.K pushes for young people to find their own identity and to find that in Christ.

As David has grown , he has made many new friends along the way. M.A.K is well connected with other Christian artists in the Boston area to help spread the Gospel all over New England. He is currently one of the five members of the All Christ Everything Tour (A.C.E.) that will be cruising all over the New England region throughout 2013. He hopes that his active particpation in this tour motivates young people to place Christ in the center of their live (Colossians 1:16-18)

By the help of social networking, David has connected with people from across the country to do the work of Christ. M.A.K. finds his inspiration from artists like Disciple, AppleJaxx, Common, 9th Wonder, Collision Records artists, LeCrae, and many more.
