Circumstances of Disappearance:

2014-AUG-29, around 02:00 AM:

1. Initial UNKNOWN call to an unlisted Louisiana State Police Department’s internal private phone number, to report “A person was sitting on the railing of the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge“.

a. LSP did not document this call or generate a report

b. LSP did not take immediate action to
investigate

c. LSP did not disclose this phone call occurred

d. No Name or physical description of the alleged person sitting on the bridge railing was that of Jake Latiolais‘.

2. The second call from KNOWN number was a truck driver, called West Baton Rouge 911 Dispatch to report a non-moving, driverless truck, in the westbound lane on the “upswing” of the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge.

a. 2nd call with KNOWN number said he did NOT see a person in the truck, in or near the vicinity of the truck, but he said “the truck is running“, and the “lights are on. It looks spooky“.

b. WBR 911 Dispatch transferred the call to East Baton Rouge Police Department, as the question of jurisdiction was disputed over who responds to 911 calls emergencies occurring in the westbound lane of the I-10 Mississippi River Bridge between signpost Entering West Baton Rouge Parish Sign and the official middle of the Mississippi River demarcation line.

c. 2nd caller did not mention Jake’s boat located in the bed of Jake’s truck

3. Third call

a. Truck driver, different voice, same phone number as the 2nd caller, overheard another UNKNOWN trucker caller say, over the CB Radio, “they said they just saw someone jump over the bridge”.

4. 4th call

a. 08:33PM, LSP called WBR 911 Dispatch for information

b. Said he saw truck without boat in tow, but a grey/brown sedan.

c. This info never reported
