P. Ryan

P. Ryan is a student, singer, and food and wine enthusiast; but most importantly, he is an individual dedicated to change. Currently pursuing a MPH at Washington University in St. Louis, P. Ryan desires to reduce levels of health disparity in minority communities by challenging constructs that range from gender role ideas to the plight of the 21st century Negro.

Besides working toward social shift, P. Ryan is actively involved in music and fashion. His vocal ability has garnered attention from state and county choirs, as well as from celebrities including female rapper, Iggy Azalea. This recognition has inspired P. Ryan’s newest creation, Beyond the MASC, a Youtube vlog that uses music and fashion to encourage and embrace unique views on masculinity, as well as to create an open forum for discussing social issues.
