She is most notable for her honest and truthful words, and giving heart through philanthropy. Rachel is a blogger on WordPress and delivers her thoughts daily on all facets of life through her own personal experiences. She writes poetry and her first book was entitled: “Political Ideologies of a Southern Maven: Brutal Honesty and Provocative”. Her first poetry novel was derived from real life experiences. “Seeing Dr. Maya Angelou in 1994 at Louisiana State University, changed my life”, says Rachel she realized after listening to her that everyone had a story to tell the world. “Some emotions are better explained in written formation”, Rachel admits.

Rachel grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, shy from the world & the only daughter of the late Susan Stewart. Rachel describes her childhood as being raised with confidence in knowing as long as you believe you can achieve. Rachel was always a creative soul even at an early age. She even created her own wrapping paper when she gave gifts.
Rachel began writing in high school and even became a published poet right after high school. Her writings were always based off something that inspired her through her own personal experiences. With being an only child for twelve years before her brother was born, Rachel used writing as her own friend. Writing was therapeutic to her and helped soothe her soul from all emotional wounds that were unseen by the naked eye.

Rachel began to come out of her shell after her mother died in 2012. She remembers vividly daily, her mother telling her that she’s a special person and had so much to share with the world. Even with daily obstacles, Rachel maintained being positive with all her endeavors.
