Isn’t it funny how we tend to turn to our personal experiences to teach others? My name is Sarah and battling my weight since I was a teen led me to several different solutions. Most of them were gimmicks or fads or just plain stupid alternatives to eating healthy.
If I knew then what I know now about the foods I eat, I would have been far better off. However, eating healthy is usually expensive when you shop in a grocery store. Plus, while diets do have some level of success, you need to have the right foods in your diet at all times.
When I came across the 5:2 intermittent diet plan it made so much sense to me that I couldn’t understand why I had not followed it before. You really get to eat all the foods you love and with some practice you can add even better foods into your weekly cycle.
What I liked the most about this eating plan was that it was so easy to do. As long as you have done some prep work for the two ‘fasting’ days of your seven day cycle – and not planned them to be consecutive – sticking to this eating program is very, very easy.
I was also sold on the fact that I not only lost weight but that I also gained more energy. I’ve put together a website called The Fasting Diet Plan and in it there are details, recipes and tips to get you on the right track to taking weight off and keeping it off.
