I'm Sara and I'm thrilled you came to my site!

I'm crazy about everything food - also crazy in general...but especially about cooking. And food!

I cook or bake for my family every day, for my friends as often as I can, for special and not so special occasions, for whatever weather is going on outside, when I'm happy or sad, you name it....I basically find any excuse and I'm usually thinking about what I'm cooking next. I'm also one of those weirdos who takes pictures of my food. I have more pictures of food on my phone than I do of my kids. It's shameful and embarrassing but I can't help it.

For several years my friends and family have been urging me to get going with a food blog and video instruction. I recently got a push from a dear friend who told me to just do it already (eye-roll). Also, my husband has a serious love affair with photography and film. I've threatened to starve him unless he helps me with photos. So that's handy! I'm not classically or professionally trained, I've just had a few decades years in the kitchen cooking sometimes simple, sometimes fancy, but always yummy dishes for those I love.

So, here I am.
