Ian Jarrett’s passion is getting under the skin of destinations, bringing places to life through its people.

His travels have taken him from the backstreets of London’s edgy Bethnal Green to the crumbling heritage palaces of Rajasthan; with the wildebeest migration in Tanzania and a 10-hour trip on a less-than-luxury train from Goa to Mumbai holding special memories.

He writes for travel trade titles in South-east Asia and Australia, and consumer titles during an extensive travel writing career.
