After nearly a decade exploring the globe, Ian returned home to Australia to found Sydney Coast Walks, an ecotour company founded on the belief that Sydney's best natural beauty can only be accessed on foot. He developed a love of the outdoors whilst walking and camping in local national parks. Ian has bushwalked extensively in New South Wales and Tasmania and has trekked independently through the Pyrenees, Alps, Himalaya and Andes as well as many lesser mountain ranges throughout Europe and the UK.
