Ian Cardenas

Hey guys,

My name is Ian Cardenas as you can see above. I am currently an old child, but I like to think of myself as a young adult. Art is my passion and helping others is my cause. As of now, I am a member of Americorps and am tutoring adults in literacy. Before this I had tried a number of jobs after college including a salesman of phoney 'miracle' items and an over-the-road truck driver. Needless to say, I didn't stick with those too long. But the economy was bad and I needed money. Before that interesting year gone to waste I had gone to Virginia Commonwealth University and studied Political Science with a concentration in Human and Civil Rights. I figured I could get a better grip on the reality of the people all around me. I figured right.

In my free time I enjoy painting, making music, filmmaking, writing and pretty much anything involving creativity. I also enjoy making myself look weirder than I actually am. I promise.
