Ian is a creative entrepreneur whose energy and passion for design have sparked many innovative start-ups. His mission is to use design as a strategic driver to improve the health and well-being of people, services, and organizations.
A graduate of OCADU in both Fine Arts and Communication Design, Ian has over 20 years of expertise in creative problem finding & solving, user-centered design, digital platforms and healthcare design. Since 2010, Ian founded the Design Meets community events which have been held in cities across Canada. We have featured themes around healthcare, public policy and social change. www.designmeets.ca
Over the past 6 years, Ian’s philanthropic desire has found him lending his design hands as a Communications Director for Pencils for Kids, which provides scholarships, sewing programs for girls and farmers of the futures training in a small community in Nigér, Africa.
