I'll start the MBA program at McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin this fall!

I worked as financial consultant working on large companies with the SAP ERP, with a very strong accounting and taxing perspective. Earlier in my career I learned the ins and outs of many small business in almost every business area, implementing SAP Business One. I love consulting, finances and technology, so I feel I'm in the sweet spot for me. But I now want to learn the advanced topics of corporate finances.

I co-founded Santos Basketball Club, a semi-professional basketball club competing in the Superior League of Lima. Update: for budget reasons, our Club is currently on hold.

Things I love: live music, technology, basketball, listening, finance, weightlifting, my family, my friends, meat, chupe de camarones, shrimps (all of Bubba's varieties), Peruvian cuisine, L'Osteria De Memmo I Santori, SSD drives, reddit, home-brewed beer, sharing what I learn, Lima, a great conversation, Julio Cortazar, correct orthography, computers (thanks mom & dad!), quoting The Matrix, rewatching The Godfather, sharing music, history, travelling, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, The Wire (and many, many other TV shows), photography (I am just starting).

Things I really don't like: olives, inconsideration, queues, unpunctuality, marzipan, mosquitoes, corruption, getting lectured (I believe in discussion), "entertainment news", my bad memory.

I'm an avid podcast listener in my commutes: All Songs Considered, Planet Money, the TWiT network, This American Life, Serial, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History and Common Sense, Bill Simmons, Jalen & Jacoby (big shout), Start Up, among many others. The list is big, the time is tight, but each one keeps me interested and entertained in what otherwise might turn into a road rage in the unbelievable traffic of Lima.
