I am a London-based journalist and communications specialist with 24 years of experience in radio, print and online media.

I currently work as London Correspondent for Ta Nea, Greece’s best-selling daily newspaper. The high points of my career have included securing exclusive interviews with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (his first interview with a European newspaper since becoming PM) and his predecessor Theresa May. I also interviewed Jeremy Corbyn while he was leader of the Labour Party. The interview triggered a lively debate and was covered by most British media.

In December 2022, I revealed exclusively that George Osborne, the chair of the British Museum, had been holding secret talks with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to negotiate the possible return of the Parthenon Marbles. This front-page splash in Ta Nea was picked up by all major British and international news outlets (including Reuters, Associated Press, AFP, Euronews, The Times, The Observer, The Telegraph, Daily Mail etc.) and it was featured as the third top story on the BBC News channel.

In July 2022, I revealed two letters Boris Johnson (who was British Prime Minister at the time) once sent to the Greek culture minister in which he denounced the British government for not giving the Parthenon Marbles back to Greece. The unearthing of the previously unpublished letters, which laid bare the extent of Johnson’s U-turn on the issue, prompted reaction from the Greek government and several British politicians, academics and campaigners who accused Johnson of 'hypocrisy'.

Other highlights include interviewing Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and British Museum director Hartwig Fischer. During my work as correspondent in the UK, I also secured for my newspaper an exclusive statement from Charles, Prince of Wales.

In January 2020, I received the Foreign Correspondents' Award from the Athanasios Botsis Foundation for the Advancement of Journalism in Athens. In November 2021, I was shortlisted for the FPA Member Story of the Year Award at the Foreign Press Association Media Awards in London. In November 2022, I was named runner-up for the second year in a row in the same category.

I have also worked as Social Media Manager for MKV Design, a London-based award-winning interior design practice, and as Press Officer for The Economist Events for Greece, Cyprus and Malta.

I have a B.A. in Public Relations and Communications.
