My last name is pronounced like the word "do," and music, in one form or another, is what I do (most of the time).

It seems most convenient for me to identify as a pianist as most of my awards and honors relate to achievements in this capacity). I also play the violin fluently, conduct passably, dabble in composing, and know my way around the equipment used in most musical contexts.

My non-musical interests include bioethics, Hegelian philosophy, and intelligent discussion in general...
