Although getting long-ish in the tooth I still feel I can get upon stage and do some good old rock and roll. I can still be hip with the crowd and work well with the rest of the band to deliver a great performance. I can play many tunes which shows flexibility and I am always listen to new tunes. I listen while others play them first before deciding together how to best perform. I used to perform on the marine and mechanical engineering stage until I decided to change the stage and do charity work in some cool but hot places in South America. Like a jack of all trades, I have tried my hand at many different tasks and roughed it camping as a tour guide, taking groups out in the wilds of Canada and Alaska to visit Mother Nature. Being chief cook and bottle washer, tent erector and nurse as well as ensuring group safety with bears around; these were some of the variety of tasks that could be written on a job description as long as your arm. I like to chat and meet new people and find out what makes them tick as we all have our own unique story to tell. I also like time by myself to think things over and read some books which will help point me in the right direction and then go out there (the truth is out there!) and try what the book says and then notice how it might be different. A long life is important to me so I can grow my teeth even longer and one way of doing this is to stay fit and healthy so I make sure I get outside and do some running whenever possible and I also swim and cycle. I don't play football very often but do have some big goals I am aiming for. To remind myself daily which end of the pitch the goal is I take some daily small steps towards it. It is a big pitch so self confidence statements read aloud daily spur me along when the grass may be wet and slippery.
