For over 20 years, Ian Highet has demonstrated business acumen in the private equity industry. He started his career as a Sales Development Manager at U.S. News & World Report and worked as Vice President of Corporate Development at Primedia during the 1990s, executing numerous acquisitions on behalf of the KKR-backed media platform.
For the last 14 years, Ian Highet has served as a Managing Partner in the private equity firm Court Square Capital. Court Square has invested across multiple industries including technology, telecommunications, media, healthcare, and industrials. Originally Citicorp Venture Capital, Court Square is one of the longest-tenured private equity firms in the United States.
In addition to his professional commitments, Ian Highet serves on the Board of Directors of the Henry Street Settlement, a Lower East Side social service agency. This not-for-profit agency offers area residents access to a variety of healthcare, social service, and arts programs. Mr. Highet owes his professional success and community engagement to his strong educational foundation. He attended the Hotchkiss School, an independent Connecticut boarding school. Later, Ian Highet attended Harvard College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, and Harvard Business School, where he earned a Master of Business Administration.
