I'm a teacher and have been working since last September as a teaching and learning coach with the Stimulating Physics Network, linked to the Institute of Physics. I'm a Chartered Science Teacher, accredited by the ASE.

I've written on teaching topics for the Guardian and the Royal Society of Chemistry. I've produced resources for the Wellcome Trust's I'm A Scientist, Get Me Out of Here and contributed to projects for AQA, the National STEM Centre eLibrary and the DfE. At home we've got two cats, three chickens and three kids. I read, a lot. I climb and am usually trying to get back into running. I'm somewhere between an atheist and a humanist, but I'm definitely secular.
