Ian Kallmeyer

An experienced anesthesiologist, Dr. Ian Kallmeyer leverages more than two decades of medical training to his role as an anesthesiologist at Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, Ltd. Based in Phoenix, the firm offers a wide range of pain management and anesthesia services. In his capacity with Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, Dr. Ian Kallmeyer specializes in cardiac anesthesia, as well as perioperative medicine for lung and liver transplants.

Dr. Ian Kallmeyer earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town in South Africa before going on to complete internships and residencies at leading medical institutions such as Groote Schuur Hospital, London’s Royal Free Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Prior to his current role with Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, he served in a number of key positions with prominent health care organizations, including a role as a staff anesthesiologist with the Boston VA Healthcare System.

Actively involved in his profession, Dr. Kallmeyer stays current with the latest developments in the field through his involvement with groups such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, and the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists.
