Ian McNamara

Currently serving as an Economic Policy Advisor to the NSW Opposition Leader and completing a Masters in Economics at Sydney University.

Graduated from the University of New South Wales (Australia) with a first class honours degree in Software Engineering. Completed postgraduate courses in accounting, economics and international business.

Former Economic Policy Advisor in the NSW Government as working for the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Ports & Infrastructure. Delivered major reforms including the Hunter Coal Export Agreement, Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy and the procurement of a third stevedore at Port Botany.

Previously worked as a Test Engineer for Unisys (NYSE:UIS), Business Analyst for GE Commercial Finance (NYSE:GE), Pricing Analyst for AGL Energy (ASX:AGK) and Management Consultant to high growth technology businesses.
