I'm a hobby guy. I play the guitar on and off, and listen to metal. I mess around on the drums when I can.

I enjoy ctaft beer quite a bit, and homebrew when I'm feeling inspired and sufficiently energetic.

I love game. Board games, video games, tabletop RPGs, Magic the Gathering, whatever. Except crappy cell phone games. Would rather read the news, which I don't do enough of.

I love snowboarding. I usually focus on downhil, technical riding, but I'm trying to get better at riding switch and figure out the terrain park too. I like hiking, camping and other such outdoors activities with groups.

I've been known to paint miniatures, mostly old Lord of the Rings minis from Games Workshop. I have a lot of unpainted minis. Quite a lot. I used to wargame, but it's been a while.

I like sitting at bars in Capitol Hill like the Stumbling Monk and talking about beer and life.

Professionally, I'm a software engineer trying to bring innovation back to Microsoft. It's hard.
