Ian was born on February 13th and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. He began acting at the age of five and professionally at the age of eight. He attended Albion College and graduated in four years with a BA in Speech Communication and Theatre. After college Ian headed to New York City and stayed there for four years before changing coasts and moving to Los Angeles, California, where he currently resides. Ian has been keeping himself busy for the last 13 years in television shows, independent and feature films, voice overs, national commercials and Off-Broadway Plays. He has been and can be seen starring on the FOX, UPN, NBC, CBS, ABC, WB, TNT, TBS, Disney, Nickelodeon, History Channel, Oxygen and Showtime Networks. In 2004, he started a film production company called Five Lake Films and became Vice President of Second Nature Collective.

He plans to continue his endeavors in entertainment across a broad spectrum and just plain "do good work."
