I used to run social media for a financial services firm in Overland Park, KS, and at Princeton University, but I started in the dark and inky world of newspapers. Born in Rhode Island, raised in California and living in Kansas (with a stop in New Jersey), I admit I say "dude" too much but also love to chant "Rock Chalk Jayhawk." I have 21+ years of professional experience making sure the best information is conveyed to a wide range of audiences; guiding recognized writers to stories that earn national honors; running coverage by the numbers and beyond on deadline for the biggest events in the world; and crafting coverage for sports, the performing arts and major universities. I love Manchester United, "Lost," "Star Wars" and "Goodfellas," and I enjoyed Hologram Tupac AND Madness at Coachella. I have a Tumblr and a Pinterest account that I hardly use, and I used to write for the soccer blog Unprofessional Foul. When my mom asks what I do for a living, I let her just believe that I play on Facebook all day.
