Personal Mission Statement: Being a brand ambassador for a beverage company and 4 agencies, I have become accustomed to public interactions. Being polite, knowledgeable, and presentable are all key aspects when representing a company to ensure proper delivery of the company image and product information. As an extroverted and naturally social person, I find myself working best in social situations or those that have interaction with the public. I value creating and maintaining connections, fortunately these are key skills within the promotional marketing industry. Understanding how to properly brand myself will be beneficial throughout my working life, a skill learned through being a brand ambassador. Brands are able to use ambassadors such as myself to market their products, with the ability to diversify their image simultaneously. As a naturally social person I understand the potential growth that may be made when properly delivering a brands’ message. This is why I not only strive to become a great employee, but an articulate, trustworthy, and knowledgeable brand ambassador.
Goals or Career Statement: I am applying for the position of Marketing Manager. Through this career I am seeking to not only fulfill the requirements the company is seeking, but to help grow and maintain a loyal customer base.
Accomplishments & Work Experience: During the early stages of my working life I was a bagger at a local supermarket. In this time, I learned the importance of customer service. Because of my efforts to converse and interact with each customer, I was promoted to work in the produce department. With this new job I gained more responsibility, but less direct interaction with the customers in the store. During this time, I found myself making excuses to talk with consumers. Once I noticed myself constantly seeking social interactions to improve my mood, the qualities I searched for in my next job became easier.
Soon after leaving the local grocery store, a beverage company had an opening on their street team. Having a good friend on the team, I was quick to join. During my training time on the Polar Beverage street team I was taught repeatedly how to properly represent the brand and engage with consumers. Polar taught me it is not about just interacting with the consumers, but leaving an impression on them. Tellingsomeone about the product isn’t enough, you must make them want it. The emphasis put on public interaction within the job allow
