Sanjeev Jaiswal IAS Officer
Bureaucrat in mumbai
Hi, I’m Sanjeev Jaiswal, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer committed to people-first governance, urban transformation, and ethical public leadership.
With over 20 years of experience in administration, I’ve had the privilege of serving in roles that deeply impact the everyday lives of citizens — from municipal leadership to state housing and infrastructure. I currently serve as the Vice President and CEO ofMHADA, where I’m focused on building affordable, inclusive housing solutions for Maharashtra’s evolving urban landscape.
During my tenure as Additional Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai, I was entrusted with overseeing critical health infrastructure during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic — including the establishment of Jumbo COVID Centers under extreme time and resource constraints. It was a time that tested every administrative system, and I stood by decisions taken in good faith, with transparency and the larger public good at heart. Even in the face of scrutiny, I’ve remained committed to due process, institutional responsibility, and accountability.
My ethos is simple: lead with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with empathy. Whether it’s creating safe spaces for women, driving urban redevelopment, or navigating crises, I bring a people-centric lens to public administration.
