Ibrahim Muhammed (IBM Bangis)

Founder & CEO, Commodity.ng

Ibrahim was born on 12th December 1992 in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Nigeria, into a modest Muslim family where discipline, curiosity, and resilience were core values. From an early age, he developed a deep interest in commerce and value creation, shaped by time spent studying his father’s business books. This early exposure laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for markets, entrepreneurship, and economic systems.

His entrepreneurial instincts emerged early. While attending Command Secondary School, Suleja, he distinguished himself academically in the commercial class and simultaneously engaged in small-scale trading activities. These early ventures—identifying scarce goods and reselling them within his school environment—gave him firsthand experience in pricing, demand cycles, and informal market structures that would later define his professional path.

Ibrahim went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance with First-Class Honours from Linton College, Malaysia. He is also a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), a globally respected qualification that strengthened his foundation in financial systems, corporate governance, and strategic business management.

During his time at university, he actively participated in leadership roles that shaped his professional discipline. As Financial Secretary of the School of Accounting and Finance Students’ Association, he managed budgeting, financial planning, and accountability systems. He also served as Public Relations Officer of the English Language Club, where he thrived in a multicultural environment that sharpened his communication skills and broadened his global perspective.

Beyond academics and business, Ibrahim is an avid reader and badminton enthusiast. He attributes much of his discipline, focus, and resilience to the consistency required in sports and lifelong learning—principles that continue to guide his leadership style today.

His professional journey began in 2013 when he entered the network marketing industry. Though the early stage of his career came with challenges, he committed himself to continuous self-development, leadership training, and execution. Over time, he rose to become a recognized leader and pin rank holder within MEGA HOLDINGS, a leading web hosting network marketing company in Africa. However, his true motivation has never been financial gain, but the creation of opportunities that empower others to grow, earn, and transform their lives.

Today, Ibrahim is widely recognized as one of the leading voices in Mega Group Africa, having spoken at numerous seminars and conventions across the continent, where he shares insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, mindset, and financial independence.

Building on years of experience across finance, business, and emerging markets, Ibrahim founded Commodity.ng, a digital agricultural commodity intelligence and trading platform designed to transform how agricultural markets operate in Nigeria and across Africa.

Commodity.ng is driven by a clear mission: to bring transparency, structure, and real-time intelligence to agricultural trade. By connecting farmers, traders, processors, and consumers through data and digital infrastructure, the platform seeks to reduce inefficiencies, eliminate information gaps, and enable fairer pricing across the value chain.

Under his leadership, Commodity.ng is positioned as more than a platform—it is a movement toward modernizing African agriculture, empowering millions of stakeholders, and building a more transparent and efficient food economy.

Through his work, Ibrahim continues to focus on one central goal: building systems that unlock opportunity, strengthen markets, and drive sustainable economic transformation across Africa.
