STEM Researcher, Educator, and Print-Business Owner in Nigeria
I am Ibukunoluwa Taiwo, a passionate STEM researcher and educator with a growing focus on cancer genomics and bioinformatics. Currently a Ph.D. candidate at Covenant University, Nigeria, my research explores how genetic variations contribute to breast cancer risk and progression among Nigerian women. I am equally committed to education and advocacy, having taught STEM subjects and mentored students in early coding and molecular biology through various programs.
Beyond the lab and classroom, I enjoy singing, writing gospel songs, reading, and making meaningful connections. I also run a print and branding business, where I blend my creativity with my love for communication and design. My maiden name is Sokoya.
