I grew up in Galston, NSW. My family dates back to "The First Fleet". I left school when I was 14, home when i was 16 and was married at 20.
I was conscripted into the Army in 1965 (the very first 2 year National Service Call up), was lucky enough to get into the Special Air Service (SAS) and so I stayed for 7 years. I did two tours of Vietnam (1967/68 and 1970/71) both with "B Troop" ("The Beagle Boys") 1 Squadron. I got out in 1972 (at the end of Vietnam)
I have done many things with my life and learnt heaps. I find people very interesting. I love to learn and understand about ourselves. I never tire of learning.
I retired in 2000 when my Military Service caught up with me. I lived alone on a boat for 5 years before taking up motorbikes in 2006. I love riding bikes (alone). I love getting on them and hate getting off them. I used to cover 100.000km a year. I used to ride 1,000km a day normally, 2,000km a day often and have covered 3,000km before stopping (I refueled my ST1100 (28l tank) 6 times that day).
In 2010 I went over to ride Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and probably Burma but only got as far as Vietnam. I met V and a week after our 2nd meeting we started living together (and haven't been apart since). It surprised both of us. V was a man hater and I enjoyed my solitude. We got married on the 19th November 2010 and V migrated to Australia in 2011.
V is an amazing girl. She had her first business at 8 years old and has tried her hand at many things since. When we came together I told her that if she ever wanted to set up a business again then i would mentor her.
If you click on "Visit my Company website" then the link will take you to her Facebook page. Her business was set up (Dec 2014) so that she could do what she loves to do. It was NOT set up to make money.
V loves to make people excited by creating AweSome Nails for them. She loves people and she loves creating AweSome Nails. As soon as she started doing this (Dec 2014) then most girls that came in would get so excited that they went away and told plenty of their friends.
Very quickly there were so many girls coming that V could no longer work alone. Luckily a very good friend (V had pretty much grown up with her family) came to work with V.
Since then V now (May 2015) has 6 girls working with her and we are currently trebling her shop's floor space. The shop environment is unique and everyone comments on it.
