IceTre
Musician, Songwriter, and Record Producer in United States
IceTre is an American recording artist and record producer signed under Blazington Music Group & EMPIRE Distribution. He is best known for his collaboration, “No Worries”, featuring Mike Zombie, a recording artist and producer from Drake’s record label, OVO Sound.
IceTre had been influenced by hip-hop from an early age. In 2006, Icetre recorded his debut mixtape “Frozen”. This would only be the start of a long course of music for the rapper. After building a reputation for himself he took to rapping and collaborating on singles and mixtapes with other local musicians.
In July 2014 Icetre secured a 85/15 distribution & publishing deal through Universal Music Publishing Group, Blazington Music Group, and EMPIRE. On September 24, 2015 Icetre released his collaborative single, “No Worries” featuring a guest appearance from OVO Sound artist Mike Zombie. The single premiered on Soundcloud. There was talk of a remix featuring Atlanta rapper OG Maco but there was never any official confirmation.
On October 20, 2017 Icetre released his single, featuring fellow label-mate Miscellaneous, entitled “House Party” that broke through to a larger audience. The response from the single granted both artists to be selected by EMPIRE to secure major label publishing through Universal Music Publishing Group.
On September 27, 2019 Icetre released “Trophy” featuring Vinny Chase and Miscellaneous. The release was widely promoted as a readily-available Spotify exclusive through the record label. The collaboration gained many streams and later would appear on his forthcoming album “28”. On January 7, 2020 Icetre’s official YouTube channel premiered a collaboration between him and Funk Volume music producer Kato titled, “Block Party”.
