How to Access iCloud Email Login on iPad Without Setup

If you need to check your iCloud email and only have access to, for example, your friend’s iPad, you might find that when you try to go to icloud.com on the iPad, it prompts you to set up the device, and won’t just let you login and check your email. This happens because when you use Safari on an iOS device, the website recognizes that you’re on a mobile device and wants you to set up iCloud for the device. Fortunately, there is a way around this problem.

Since the problem is with Safari mobile, what you need to do is use a different browser. Install Google Chrome on the iPad (or other device) and go to icloud.com. If the problem isn’t resolved that way, tap on the three dots to expand the Chrome menu, and select the option that says “Request desktop site”. This should take you to the regular iCloud email login page.
