Wassup ?! I'm Idong . A gig worker turned Full Stack Software Engineer . Long story short I have an unfinished bachelors degree in computer science . Blew all my chances for undergrad grants or loans because I would keep switching majors . Bank loans were out of the question because well my credit was horrible . With no funds to register for classes and finish my degree I sort of gave up hope .

In pursuit of not having to work a crap job I took to driving for Uber full time in Boston . Grew increasingly discouraged about where I was in life . 2019 came and I got sick with covid . Didn’t want to go back to that anyway so I went down a rabbit hole looking for ways to finish the education I started , I found out about bootcamps .

I applied to a few of them , enrolled in two , eventually settled on Lambda School (now known as Bloom Tech) . I took the Software Engineering track . It was a full time , nine months programme , which I graduated early 2021 .

Through a relationship I had formed with a young CEO on twitter I Landed a six month software engineering contract , three weeks after graduating bootcamp . Started with Career Karma that same week .

My contract ended end of August 2021 . I chose to take a break and have just been with CK ever since . With the start of the new year I’ve chosen to get back on the grind working towards landing my next software engineering role .
