Hello, my name is Isabella. I am a Core French Teacher working for the TCDSB and I work at a school in downtown Toronto. I teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 and each of these grades has their own set of challenges. Although some days may be difficult, I truly love my job. I have been working in the Public Education sector for the past four years. Prior to this I worked as a French Instructor at a Private Montessori School. I worked at the Montessori for seven years. I returned to University when I was thirty-seven years old and I received my BA from Ryerson University. I really loved my time attending Ryerson, despite the extremely late nights completing work, and I felt rejuvenated from the experience. I completed my BEd at Brock University in Hamilton. It was an extremely tough year as I had to commute daily and the winter weather driving proved to be quite challenging. Even though it was a tough year I formed many friendships with my classmates and I felt proud of my accomplishment of finally becoming a Teacher.

I have been married for nineteen years and my husband and I met while we were attending Seneca College. I have a twin boy and girl that are fifteen years old. They are truly awesome kids and keep me extremely busy. Having and raising twins has been the hardest thing that I have had to do in my life up to now. But I wouldn't trade this for anything!

I love learning new things and challenging myself and this is one of the reasons for taking this ABQ. I am passionate about travelling, reading, gardening and photography.
