Originally from the UK, I've had the opportunity to travel the globe, from Europe, the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent, SE Asia, China, Australia and the US. I'm now experiencing my first taste of Africa, living in Cairo - the city of a thousand minarets. Probably an under-statement!

I enjoy experiencing new things that life has to offer and am on a constant mission to improve myself in some small way, on a daily basis, which at the moment is learning a new language, studying algebra (have a daughter approaching her secondary school exams), learning about WordPress to build a website and looking to start an online business.

My work background is in IT where I have worked for companies like KPMG and Hewlett Packard. I have MSc in Computer Systems and Networking as well as a PGCE from King's in London where until August 2014 I worked as a school teacher in a state secondary school and in a small independent primary school for 5 years, (the most enjoyable job I have ever had!)
