Abdullateef Idris Adeshina is a youth leader, educator, researcher, and civic thinker passionate about governance, public policy, sustainable development, and community advancement.
A First-Class graduate of Public Administration, he has held several leadership positions at different levels, serving as a student union president, legislative representative, electoral commission chairman, and project manager during his National Youth Service year. His experiences have shaped his commitment to youth development, civic engagement, and nation-building.
Beyond leadership, Abdullateef has spent years teaching Government and English while mentoring students transitioning into higher education. This experience has given him firsthand insight into the aspirations and challenges of young people, strengthening his belief in the power of education, critical thinking, and civic responsibility in shaping future leaders and driving national development.
As co-founder of the University Sustainable Development Goals Club, his interests span youth advocacy, civic engagement, policy analysis, and leadership development. He is committed to empowering young people with the knowledge, values, and opportunities needed to participate actively in governance and nation-building.
Beyond his interests in governance and public policy, Abdullateef is also a creative professional whose work has contributed to cultural and commercial projects with international recognition, reflecting his belief in the power of storytelling, communication, and innovation to inspire change.
Through advocacy, education, research, and strategic engagement, Abdullateef hopes to inspire a generation of responsible leaders who will contribute meaningfully to building a more inclusive, prosperous, and forward-looking society.
