I'm Ieshia, a highly experienced high risk birth doula with a strong background in community health, substance abuse and behavioral services. Some of the highlights over the past twenty-eight years

• I actively work close with the Moms Do Care program providing doula services supporting moms and children.
• I am a pregnancy and infant Loss advocate.
• I've had the honor of serving as a United Against Racism Doula at Mass General Brigham Hospitals in Boston, Newton Wellesley and Salem.
• At Boston Medical Center, I actively contributed to the Birth Sister Doula Program and played a pivotal role in the Cesarean Section team.
• Additionally, I made meaningful contributions to the Parent Connection Program, providing telehealth support for breastfeeding and infant care, and I facilitated the New Mom Support Group.
• My role as an intensive care coordinator allowed me to organize services for high-needs children, ensuring that families stayed together Working on the wrap around method.
• I've also worked as an adult outreach worker, focusing on special populations, and participated in the Welcome Baby Program, conducting outreach and home visits for new moms.
• Along this journey, I've earned certifications in Doula service, Lactation specialist, placenta encapsulation, End of life doula, CNA, EKG, and Phlebotomy.

Beyond my professional life, my commitment to birth, and end of life family health, and connection extends to my personal life. As a mother of six, I've even served as the doula for one of my own births. I've also applied my personal care training to care for my adult son with TBI and spinal cord injuries. And my Mother who suffers from Alzheimer and kidney disease.Furthermore, I've opened my home to foster children through the Department of Children and Families when the need arises.
