Helping Engineering Students Live Their Dreams

From being an IITian to an IES officer, and now as a mentor and guide to thousands of engineering students aspiring for ESE, GATE and PSUs, Mr Kanchan Kumar Thakur has travelled a long and diverse professional journey. His story of ambition and true passion to follow the conscience is superbly inspiring for the younger generation to say the least.

After completing his B.Tech in civil engineering from IIT Roorkee, he cleared the most coveted engineering exam i.e. Engineering Services Examination (ESE). However, his zeal to do something for the young engineering minds who dare to think big, urged him to take the challenging field of teaching and impart his knowledge among the younger lot. His dream to change the world through quality education compelled him to finally come up with IES Master, an institute for engineers aspiring for ESE, GATE and PSUs, in the year 2011.

His method of teaching reflects an amalgamation of his 12 years of service experience and theoretical knowledge. With his experience Mr. Thakur created a unique methodology to teach at a deeper, more meaningful level. As a result, within a year of its inception, IES Master produced 1 rankers in ESE and GATE exam. Since then IES Master has been consistently producing ESE and GATE rankers. Today IES Master is at the forefront of coaching for ESE, GATE and PSU exams.

There is a purpose, a mission that drives Mr. Thakur’s teaching, and the purpose is to prepare quality engineers for the development of the nation. Mr Thakur is committed to help its hardworking students achieve what they deserve i.e. Success. It’s because of this commitment of Mr. Thakur that today he is the most trusted name among thousands of young engineers. Every word of his, whether it’s written or spoken, comes across as a mainstay for the aspiring minds to adhere to. Under Mr. Thakur’s guidance, students get what they otherwise miss during their B.Tech or M.Tech years.

Further, to help them save time and energy, Mr. Thakur has recently come up with his new study centre at Noida. Mr. Thakur firmly believes that IES Master Noida study centre is going to be all about quality learning environment which students have so far experienced at IES Master Delhi.

However, Mr Thakur believes that he has a long way to go and a lot many milestones to achieve.
