Ifegwu-Mbonu, Victor is an exceptional Social Impact Leader who has devoted himself to the development of young people in Africa. His passion for youth development led to his recognition as one of the 50 Top Rising Social Impact Transformers in Africa in July 2021.
As the President/Founder of the Double Edged Impact Network, Ifegwu-Mbonu has established a membership-based organization that seeks to build a community of individuals working together to become better versions of themselves, contribute to society, and promote positive change.
The organization has multiple initiatives, including the Emerge Club, which is a youth development club that operates in different institutions in Nigeria, specifically designed for undergraduates.
He has also established the Double Edged Equip Program, a specialized training academy designed to equip undergraduates with relevant digital and soft skills, with 102 persons trained as of September 2021.
Additionally, Ifegwu-Mbonu organizes the annual Emerge Summit, Young Men Conference, and the Young Women Conference. He also manages Project Nurture, a mentoring platform that provides undergraduates with access to direct mentorship and guidance.
Ifegwu-Mbonu is a Personal Growth and Leadership Trainer (PGLT) and provides specialized training and consultation to individuals, organizations, and groups.
He is highly skilled in Research, Project Management, Event Planning and Management, Public Speaking and Presentation, Content Creation, WordPress Design and Management, Social Media Management, and Graphic Designing. He was a 2021 FOI Ambassador with the Ymonitor initiative of the Future Project Africa.
Ifegwu-Mbonu is a Fellow of the McKinsey Forward Africa Program, and an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and African Changemakers Initiative. He is also a member of the Lead Network Africa.
He holds a B.A. in History and Int'l Studies from the University of Nigeria, an M.A. in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos, a Leadership Diploma from WOFBI, and is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree at the University Of Nigeria.
